It is no easy feat being a people,
not a person, but a people.
Being a person is easy enough,
but being a collective of
tens or thousands or billions
is where the trouble begins.
Most difficulties of being a person
come from the influence of the people,
or even at times the lack thereof.
All have opinions on matters that effect all,
leading to conflict or compromise.
Conflict, lacking the interests of others,
compromise, lacking the interests of self.
Not one square inch of this earth isn’t claimed,
in one way or another
by someone or the other,
so where then can a person truly be free?
Sadly the answer is nowhere
I’ll go where
the line becomes blurred, even if just a bit.
