As if by chance the wind should blow,
the sun should rise to melt the snow.
As if by chance the clouds bring rain,
the melted snow will fall again.
As if by chance two lovers meet,
walk, hand in hand, upon their feet.
As if by chance one falls apart,
the other stays to mend their heart.
As if by chance the tea is cold,
the kettle then shall sing an ode.
As if by chance the hearth should burn,
andiron logs to ash will turn.
As if by chance a faith is lost,
may grace remind of what the cost.
As if by chance you turn your head,
let loneliness not leave me dead.

I am a marketing consultant and aspiring writer, with a major in English and a minor in history. I have been writing poetry consistently since my senior year of high school and have since published three poetry books and three novels. I have also written several songs and a few short stories. I also wrote and published a trilogy of novels, my Troika book series. I am currently working on a large-scale multi-book fantasy series that I am very excited about! Writing is a part of my every day, and I would have trouble finding meaning or the will to keep going without it.
