Author: Aaron Michael Lynn

I am a marketing consultant and aspiring writer, with a major in English and a minor in history. I have been writing poetry consistently since my senior year of high school and have since published three poetry books and three novels. I have also written several songs and a few short stories. I also wrote and published a trilogy of novels, my Troika book series. I am currently working on a large-scale multi-book fantasy series that I am very excited about! Writing is a part of my every day, and I would have trouble finding meaning or the will to keep going without it.

The Crack in the Glass

August 22, 2017 by Aaron Michael Lynn, posted in Songs

A song I wrote a few years ago about respecting yourself. The superstition of bad luck from a broken mirror is played on reversely, as the mirror is how everyone else sees you, but you need to see yourself in your own way; through the crack in the glass.

Seven Sisters

August 22, 2017 by Aaron Michael Lynn, posted in Songs

A song I wrote a few years ago about the music industry and how lyrics seem to no longer have meaning, only a good beat matters. Seven sisters are a metaphor for the music industry.

A poem I wrote months ago about the girl I love while sitting next to her in her dorm room. We loved to watch the rain together as we were doing when I wrote this. I never got the chance to share this with her.

Masterpiece of a Mastermind (One Thousand Blades and Fires)

August 6, 2017September 18, 2017 by Aaron Michael Lynn, posted in Poetry

A poem I wrote about the girl I love. To me, she is perfection; a masterpiece, and to have made her, God must be a mastermind.
