Rain rain pitter patters
brief, long lasting; it’s the latter.
Rain rain pitter patters as it shatters
when in lands, droplets break apart and splash the grass the dirt the plants the sand.
May it touch your head
as surely all your thoughts will grow
and may it fertilize the learning
of the things you’re yet to know.
A lullaby, it helps you dream
and drift into the floral sky,
it also wakes you up it seems
and renders you quite far from dry.
Rain is in your eye. Tears are in the sky.
Nature as you cry, it has you cry, alas you cry.

I am a marketing consultant and aspiring writer, with a major in English and a minor in history. I have been writing poetry consistently since my senior year of high school and have since published three poetry books and three novels. I have also written several songs and a few short stories. I also wrote and published a trilogy of novels, my Troika book series. I am currently working on a large-scale multi-book fantasy series that I am very excited about! Writing is a part of my every day, and I would have trouble finding meaning or the will to keep going without it.
