This is a poem I wrote for my dad since today is his birthday. He lost his brother to suicide many years ago, and plans on getting a tattoo of a seagull to commemorate his brother's free spirit.

This is a poem that will most likely be featured in the novel that I am currently working on. It is about the main character of my novel, Phoenix, but describes her as though she is an actual phoenix.
