This is a poem that I wrote more than two years ago that just never made it onto the blog, but it just so happens that I am finally starting a monthly newsletter that is named after this poem! Please give it a read and subscribe to my newsletter for a more in-depth look on my writing process, projects, and other things!
I finally published my new book of poetry, A Chaplet of Flowers. This is a collection of all of the poetry I wrote throughout the course of 2019 and the very beginning of 2020.
This is still one of the strangest and most important things that has ever happened to me. In a dream that I had a woman very clearly whispered, "It was only Irita who bothered to cry" into my ear. The next day, I wrote it down. A few weeks later, I wrote the poem. I then converted the poem into a short song. I then incorporated it briefly into my second novel, "Arisen from Bygones". As of late, I have been delving ever deeper into the meaning behind the whisper.
I don't think that I have previous made any posts containing multiple poems, so I thought that this might be fun. I was up late last night, just wired with inspiration and melodies in my head, so I ended up writing four poems very quickly one after another. Only positive thoughts; only good inspiration; only in the dead of night.
