This is a poem that I just wrote while listening to the Game of Thrones track "Light of the Seven" along with a rain and thunder video playing simultaneously. It is written indirectly about one of the characters in the show.

Be My Merry Maiden
This is a poem featured as a song in my upcoming novel. In the world of Troika, it is an old traditional love ballad, though the lyrics are not as romantic as the way it is sung.
Her Condolences
This is a poem that I wrote while listening to the instrumental track that I linked below and revolves around somebody saying that they are sorry without meaning it.
Fire, Cruel Mistress (With a Golden Cross We Stand)
This is a poem written about the fire that took place at the historic Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris. I saw a photo taken in the aftermath of a golden cross unscaved, and subsequently saw a video of the beautiful harmonies of the people singing at the vigil in the streets the next day. Even as our world burns, Mother Mary, Our Lady, Notre Dame, still stands.
Dearest Dale
This is a poem written for my beautiful, beloved boy, Dale. Dale passed along today to the floral skies after a decade of our friendship and he will be dearly missed for his silly antics, soft fur, and good spirit.
Promise Made, Promise Kept
This is one of the shortest poems that I've ever written, but I didn't think anything else needed to be said for it to be complete.
The Church is Up in Flames
This is a poem about how so many people like me seem to be too lazy and selfish to fit one hour a week of going to church into their schedule. I personally feel a lot of guilt about this and plan to eventually break the habit. Even if you don't believe in God, organized religion, or the overall message of some faiths, when you are inside of a local church as part of a congregation during a Mass...it is a blissful experience.
On Seagull’s Wings
This is a poem I wrote for my dad since today is his birthday. He lost his brother to suicide many years ago, and plans on getting a tattoo of a seagull to commemorate his brother's free spirit.
Cold Rain
This is a poem that I wrote the other night. I saw someone post a song that they wrote called Cold Rain about their weight loss, and it encouraged me to finally take crucial steps for my own and is a message to myself that, though it will be a difficult road, I will be there for me.
Silent Postcards
This is a poem that I just wrote about somebody experiencing new highs and lows simultaneously, and how they have said so much that they, for once, are at a loss of what to say.
