This is a poem I wrote about how more often than not I find myself lost in the fantasies of daydreams, books and movies, and the worlds of my own writing. It is there that I find love, find peace, and find hope.

In the Snap of a Finger
This is a poem that I wrote about how my emotions seem to come and go quickly, and when they come on they do so strongly. It is also about how this is a conflict when I am writing, since at times I think my writing is brilliant and other times I think it is terrible, as I'm sure all writers do.
Beauty in Bloodshed
This is a poem I wrote about finding the silver lining in things. Typically, bloodshed is the result of injury or pain, but there are many positive reasons why it sheds as well.
Shooting Star, Double Rainbow
This is a poem about two miraculous things I saw recently, both coincidentally while on ferry ships. Despite growing up on Cape Cod, it took me 25 years to get to Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard, which I finally did, and my view as I left each was nothing shy of Heavenly.
Too Late
This is a poem I wrote the other day. It seems like most people my age currently relate to this concept of friends physically and emotionally leaving, and the panic that can set in when you begin to feel your age and compare yourself to others.
Reaper as by Name
This is a poem I wrote a few weeks ago after a vivid dream I had about somehow who has haunted my dreams for far too long. It is essentially a sequel to my poems "The Librarian" and "The Shelves of Time".
Seven Days
This is a poem that I just wrote while listening to the masterpiece "Seven Days Walking" by composer Ludovico Einaudi, specifically the "Day Six" album, which I have linked. It is a powerful piece and the poem was inspired by the music.
My Thoughts Are Bright Tonight
This is a poem I wrote a few nights ago as a follow up to a poem I wrote a few months ago called 'My Thoughts Are Dark Tonight' since some big life changes have made me much happier.
My Last Day
This is a poem that I wrote a few weeks ago and is another poem about the premonition that I've always had that I will die young, but that I am at peace with that.
Phoenix
This is a poem that appeared in my last poetry book that I wrote nearly a year ago. I hired an artist to bring Phoenix, the main character of my novel, to life for the book cover and he did so perfectly in the first try. I can't wait until this project is finalized and published!
