This is a poem about two miraculous things I saw recently, both coincidentally while on ferry ships. Despite growing up on Cape Cod, it took me 25 years to get to Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard, which I finally did, and my view as I left each was nothing shy of Heavenly.

Too Late
This is a poem I wrote the other day. It seems like most people my age currently relate to this concept of friends physically and emotionally leaving, and the panic that can set in when you begin to feel your age and compare yourself to others.
Reaper as by Name
This is a poem I wrote a few weeks ago after a vivid dream I had about somehow who has haunted my dreams for far too long. It is essentially a sequel to my poems "The Librarian" and "The Shelves of Time".
Seven Days
This is a poem that I just wrote while listening to the masterpiece "Seven Days Walking" by composer Ludovico Einaudi, specifically the "Day Six" album, which I have linked. It is a powerful piece and the poem was inspired by the music.
My Last Day
This is a poem that I wrote a few weeks ago and is another poem about the premonition that I've always had that I will die young, but that I am at peace with that.
Shadow on the Wall
This is a poem I wrote yesterday for my brother's birthday today. We were very close growing up. I looked up to him and followed him around like a shadow, and though some of that can get lost with age, it never goes away entirely.
Bottle on the Sea, Needle in the Hay
This is a poem I started a few weeks ago and finished today. It's about that feeling where you don't necessarily want something, but you want to know that you could have it should you desire it, and how things are easy to lose and difficult to find.
That Girl, From Damariscotta
This is a poem I wrote a few weeks ago after I took a solo trip to Maine. I found my way into a cafe two days in a row, and both days I saw the same girl working there. She was unquestionably the most beautiful girl I have ever seen in my entire life, and this is my attempt to write about just how mesmerized I was by her.
Smiles Through Tears
This is a poem I wrote while listening to Ramin Djawadi's track "Runaway", and it's about wanting to run away into the worlds of fantasies, but knowing that is in and of itself just a fantasy.
Monarch Memories
This is a pretty transparent poem about my love of history and medieval fantasy and has a pretty rhythmic rhyme scheme.
